Description
Pair of bronze greaves. Part of the dead man's defensive armour used to protect the shins. Four iron spearheads. Iron strigil used by athletes for cleansing their bodies of dust and oil. Bronze situla with twin arched swinging handles, a spout in the form of lion's head and a relief head of a Silen. Vessel used at banquets for carrying wine or water. Derveni tomb offerings. 325-300 BC. Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.
