Votive relief in the shape of a temple. Marble. Found in Asklepieion,Piraeus.The snake is the symbolic representation of Zeus Melichios. The inscription refers to the dedicator Heracleides. 4th century BC. National Archaeological Museum Athens.

Andonis was born in Constantinople. I was awarded a B.A degree in Anthropology and History of Art from S.U.N.Y. at New Paltz, New York. I combine photography, archaeology, and nature. Recently, I reside in Greece, cooperating with publishing houses and magazines.
