Amphora reconstructed from sherds found in Thessaly. It represents a typical shape in the pottery repertoire of the Dimini civilisation. Late Neolithic (5300-4800 BC). Number 12: Clay quadruped figurine with suspension hole in the body.Neolithic zoomorphic figurines reflect the agricultural and stock raising character of the economy, and the majority represent domesticated animals. From Farsala, Thessaly. Neolithic Age (6500-3200 BC).
